There is no problem of lack of weapons for territorial defence in Ukraine; there is a logistics problem.
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar announced it, Ukrinform reports.
The Ministry of Defense has received appeals that there are no weapons in one place or another, but "this is only a matter of logistics, not a shortage of weapons."
"At the beginning of the war, the ministry didn't form a wartime staff until the end as we planned to form it closer to May and summer. In addition, not all places of deployment had places for weapon storage, Malyar noted. - Therefore, it is necessary to address the command of territorial defence forces and report about it. We have generated and transmitted all inquiries from local territorial defence brigades regarding weapons needs, and we provided them logistically."
More than 100,000 Ukrainians have joined the Territorial Defense.
Territorial defence units successfully counteract the enemy in almost all Ukrainian regions.
