Fighters of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine overwhelmed 18 units belonging to Russian occupiers in the Sumy region.
This was reported on the Facebook page of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The occupiers tried to enter one of the settlements.
"More trophies have replenished the arsenal of the Armed Forces - 3 armored personnel carriers, several Gvozdika self-propelled artillery guns, 2 trucks, and a mortar," reported the General Staff.
On the night of 9 March, the Russian occupiers bombed residential areas of Sumy, 22 people died, 3 of whom were children.
25 evacuation buses with more than a thousand people have left Sumy. 6,000 civilian cars with more than 20,000 people are moving along the humanitarian corridor.
