In the temporarily occupied Berdyansk, Russian occupiers are forcing local journalists to broadcast Russian propaganda at gunpoint.
Oleksandr Starukh, the head of the Zaporizhzhya Regional State Administration, posted this in a video comment on regional administration’s Youtube channel.
"They noted their addresses, their relatives' addresses, and forced them to broadcast all sorts of garbage. For example, that humanitarian aid was delivered. While it was necessary to distribute it, no real residents came. However two buses packed with "old ladies in charge" came out, received the aid and explained "how good it is in Russia". Russian occupants filmed this as if normal and showed it on television. In particular, this case was in Melitopol," said Starukh.
On 8 March Russian occupiers seized the Azov Wave radio station in Berdyansk. Local authorities warned of the possible spread of propaganda and anti-Ukrainian information by the enemy.
The head of NNEGC "Energoatom" Petro Kotin said that Russian journalists were trying to get comments from ZNPP staff.
