State Emergency Service: 14 units of ammunition have been removed from Mykolaiv in a day

Among them there are demolition bombs, cluster submunition, artillery and mortar shells.

During the day on 9 March, the subdivisions of the State Emergency Service in Mykolaiv removed 14 units of ammunition from residential areas. This is reported on their Facebook page. “Among them there are 3 demolition bombs (FAB-250), cluster submunition, artillery and mortar shells. We have been working in residential sectors in Inhul district, Ternivka and Soliani microdistricts,” the rescue workers say.

For now, the local subdivisions of the State Emergency Service have received 402 requests about possible detection of dangerous objects. At the moment, they have processed 48 of them.

“If you have noticed something resembling ammunition, under no circumstances should you touch it. Wait for the pyrotechnicians, who will identify the explosive hazard and remove it,” the State Emergency Service emphasizes.

As a reminder, on Monday, 7 March, four civilians died as a result of shell bombing. There have been 11 fires, 8 of them in the residential sector.

On the same day, Mykolaiv fought back two occupiers’ attacks. 8 defenders died in the morning bombing.
