An “exclusion zone” was created in the occupied Sevastopol around the vessel of the Marine Search and Rescue Team named Sapphire, on land and in waters.

This is reported by the project Crimea.Realities.

Sapphire has been cast off to the distant dock of the northern side of Sevastopol, next to a warship.

The entry to the dock and the ways leading to it by sea are guarded 24 hours a day.

As a reminder, at the end of February, Russians captured the Ukrainian vessel Sapphire, which was supposed to collect the bodies of the Ukrainian military killed in action on Zmiinyi Island. The rescue mission was agreed with the occupiers.

However, it turned out that there were no deaths on the island, and Russia used the situation to backstabbingly mine the rescue vessel and capture it along with the civilian crew and the priest of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

On 9 March the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reported that Sapphire was being transported to the port in the occupied Sevastopol.
