Russians to launch another offensive within 2-3 weeks - Arestovych

The Russian army will try to attack again in the next two to three weeks. The invaders will try to recruit volunteers from the Middle East.

The adviser to the head of the President's Office, Oleksiy Arestovych, announced that on the national live broadcast, Channel 24 reports.

He noted that we should understand that the aggressor country will make another attempt to attack.

Arestovych noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had currently defeated Russian troops near Kyiv. The enemy has become defensive, trying to move with small units. Ukrainian defenders are successfully eliminating them.

However, according to the adviser, the Russians will try to throw reserves in areas where they have some success.

"It will definitely be an Anti-Terrorist Operation Zone, the Mariupol area, maybe Kharkiv region and near Kyiv," he explained.

According to Arestovich's forecasts, this could happen in 2-3 weeks with volunteers from the Middle East.

"They are accumulating reserves. According to some reports, they are trying to recruit troops from Abkhazia and Nagorno-Karabakh under the guise of partial mobilization, restore 20-30 battalion tactical groups and throw them into battle again," he said.

At the same time, he clarified that the fighting capacity of people who were gathered and thrown into battle without military coordination would be appropriate. Arestovych assured that Ukrainians would also successfully cope with this "help" for Russians.

"But these reserves will also be defeated in the battlefield. It may take us ten days, a week. After that, the occupiers will stop because they will have nothing to fight with. Then Russia will agree to negotiations, not senseless ultimatums," Arestovych said.

Russia's total combat losses from 24 February to 12 March are approximately 12,000 people and 362 tanks.

In the Sumy region, the territorial defence forces fighters managed to destroy the occupiers' three tanks and self-propelled artillery.
