The Head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, says there is no electricity, water, heating or gas in Chernihiv.

Chaus said this on the air of the national telethon, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

"The city is cut off from all networks, but the repair crews are working. The situation is gradually leveling off. We are constantly increasing the number of subscribers whose services are resumed. The main problem is water," – Chaus said.

The head of the SMA also said that the occupiers were using "terrible" military tactics.

"They go to the settlements and fire from there, in particular at Chernihiv. Our Armed Forces do not work in the settlements. We are waiting until they move on, relocate, and we can (destroy - ed.) them between the settlements. Enemy losses are rather heavy, "Chaus stressed.

He clarified that the authorities trust not only in the Chernihiv guerrillas, "but also in God and the Armed Forces."

Earlier, in Chernihiv, due to communication disruptions, there were problems with notifying residents of the air alert.

The Russian Federation has been attacking Chernihiv from the air for many days in a row. Due to the night air strike on March 11, the city was left without water supply.
