The Ministry of Digital Transformation said what they have already managed to buy for the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the crypto funds.
The list was published on the authorities' Facebook page.
"The crypto community is actively supporting Ukraine and donating to the needs of our army. So far, the money raised on the initiative of the Ministry of Digital Transformation has been used to buy for the Armed Forces:
5550 bulletproof vests and 500 armored plates
3125 thermal imaging and night optics
3427 medical devices
410,000 dry rations
500 helmets
60 walkie-talkies," the ministry said.
They plan to extend the list soon.
Priority expenditures include funding for countering Russian propaganda, a global communication campaign on the actual events in Ukraine, cybersecurity and digital infrastructure rehabilitation, additional protection and migration of registries, and the purchase of special technical equipment.
As was reported earlier, the boxer and brother of Kyiv Mayor, Volodymyr Klychko, said that business representatives and German citizens have already raised more than 100 million euros to support Kyiv, Ukraine, and its defenders.
On March 9, 20 tons of medicines and other aid from France arrived for the needs of the National Police and war victims.
