A graduate of the Ukrainian Academy of Leadership (UAL), an author of the project "Ozbroyeni", a fighter of the Third Regiment of the Special Forces named after Prince Sviatoslav the Brave of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ivan Pokidko was killed in action defending Ukraine from Russian invaders,.
This was reported on the UAL Instagram page.
"It is with great sadness that we announce that on March 9, defending the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, our graduate Ivan Pokidko was killed," the statement said.
Ivan Pokidko studied at the Kharkiv branch of the UAL in 2020-2021. He was erudite, responsible and hardworking, had high moral values, was fond of military matters.
He created the project"Ozbroyeni" at the Academy, where he prepared lectures on personal development for servicemen in cooperation with the “Povernys Zhyvym” (Return Alive) Foundation and the Civil and Military Cooperation (CIMIC) unit.
Immediately after graduation he went to serve in the Third Regiment of the Special Forces named after Prince Sviatoslav the Brave of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"It is an honor to have a graduate who consciously chose a noble cause - to defend the country! He developed as a whole person and wanted to be the best in military matters, because he felt their value and necessity. Heroes do not die! Rest in peace," - Academy .
