The project "Ukrainskiy svidok" published on its YouTube channel a video about how the Ukrainian brand HARDRIDE manufactures tactical gear during the war.
"The war affected every Ukrainian. Many people had to accept and adapt to the changes dictated by the current situation. People lost their jobs, moved, enlisted in the defense, began volunteering, or changed professions.
Many Ukrainian brands have decided to help the Ukrainian military and changed the format of their work. Those who previously held leading positions at fashion shows and were in demand among style lovers are now making thermal underwear, military uniforms, and bulletproof vests for Ukrainian defenders, "the video's authors note.
"HardRide," which has been making civilian items for the past five years, has returned to making tactical gear and ammunition pouches, as it did in 2014.
"Time dictates its rules. So, we return to what we know how to do best," said company founder Volodymyr Cheremys.
Now the company is concentrating on making load-bearing vests and ammunition pouches for Ukrainian fighters. Again, the gear they make is as functional and comfortable as possible: it can be quickly removed and put on.
Vitaliy Deineha, the founder of the foundation "Povernus zhyvym" [Return Alive] that helps the Ukrainian Army launched the media project Ukrainian Witness.
Volunteers of the foundation "Povernus zhyvym" work closely with Ukrainian worriers and receive exclusive photos and videos from them.
"Hold on, guys! Everything will be fine! We will defeat all of them [russians]. We are strong; the whole civilized world is with us… Soon everything will be over, and we will have to rebuild the country anew," HARDRIDE employees say.
