On 9-10 March, 800 servicemen from the 102nd Military Base of the Southern Military District were transferred from Armenia to the Russian Federation for further transfer to the combat zone in Ukraine. This base in Gyumri belongs to Russia.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine summed up in their report as of noon that up to 1,500 members of the 40th Naval Infantry Brigade (Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky) of the Pacific Fleet are sent to Belarus by rail. The 820th Main Centre for Missile Attack Warning (Solnechnogorsk) selects personnel to take part in hostilities against Ukraine.
In addition, Russia involves many mercenaries from Syria and Serbia and "peacekeepers" from Nagorno Karabakh (Azerbaijan).
The situation in the directions is as follows:
In Poliskyy, Siverskyy, Slobozhanskyy, Donetskyy, Tavriyskyy and Pivdennobuzhskyy directions, the enemy advances. The Russians are regaining their combat readiness and regrouping their troops, preparing to continue the offensive.
"Russian war criminals carry out rocket bombings and artillery destruction of the civilian infrastructure of Ukrainian cities of Chernihiv, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Mariupol, Avdiivka, Volnovakha and suburbs of large settlements throughout Ukraine, and the troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the General Staff noted.
The enemy did not carry out offensive operations in the Volyn direction. The military leadership of Belarus continues to strengthen the protection of the border with Ukraine.
The direct participation of the armed forces of the Republic of Belarus in the military operation against Ukraine on the side of the occupiers in the Volyn direction is still possible. The enemy is conducting air reconnaissance of military and civilian objects on the territory of Ukraine.
In the Poliskyy direction, the enemy with specific forces holds positions in the area of Poliske, Ivankiv, Lypivka, Kopyliv, Motyzhyn, Buzova, Horenichi, Irpin, Sinyak, Kazarovychi and Sukholuchia.
There is no active offensive now. Russia is trying to establish a system of logistics and restore military equipment.
"On the Republic of Belarus territory in the area of Kulichykha, 17 km from the State Border of Ukraine, the enemy has deployed a base for repair and restoration of military equipment," the General Staff said.
In the northern direction, the enemy held positions near the settlements of Lyubech, Slavutych, Kovryta, Zolotynka, Mena, Branytsia, Kalyta, Bohdanivka, Lukashi, Romny, and Nedrihailiv with the help of separate units from the Central Military District. The occupiers do not conduct active offensive actions; their primary efforts are focused on improving the logistics system of the group.
In the direction of Brovary - Boryspil, the enemy is blocking the E95 highway, continuing measures to regroup troops, replenish supplies and conduct reconnaissance. The enemy has moved to the defensive position and keeps checkpoints on critical routes. It is likely that after the regrouping of troops and introducing additional units, the enemy will resume offensive operations to capture the left bank of Kyiv.
In the Slobozhanskyy direction, the enemy with specific forces maintains positions in the settlements of Siieverodonetsk, Svatove, Kupyansk, Velyka Pysarivka, Moskovskyy Bobryak, and Lebedyn. The aggressor continues to form additional units, consolidate on the achieved frontiers, regroups troops, restores combat capability of units, replenishes stocks of ammunition and fuel and lubricants to block Kharkiv and capture the city of Izyum. However, no active offensive was reported, except for Izyum.
In the Donetskyy and Tavriyskyy directions, the enemy held positions near the settlements of Borova, Ternove, Novokrasnyanka, Luhanske, Horlivka, Panteleimonivka, Novotroitske and Hulyaipole.
With the support of the army aviation, the aggressor is trying to launch an offensive in the Volnovakha direction. Enemy troops captured the settlements of Staromlynivka, Yevhenivka, Pavlivka, Yehorivka and were stopped at unfavourable frontiers.
In the area of Sievierodonetsk, the occupiers are firing on the positions of our troops. With the support of artillery, they carried out assault operations and captured the eastern outskirts of the village of Rubizhne.
The enemy did not conduct active offensive operations in the Pivdennyy Buh direction. However, they are actively conducting air reconnaissance and moving towards Kryvyi Rih. In the last 24 hours, the occupiers continued to advance in the direction of Arkhanhelske and Novovorontsovka, but they were stopped.
In all the offensive directions, the enemy actively used civilian infrastructure and civilians as a cover.
