The Operational Command "North" reported that near Chernihiv, the Ukrainian military defeated an enemy tank unit that was to advance in the direction of Kyiv. The Command noted that the army eliminated the enemy.
"This time, the tank unit was unlucky to pass through our defenders and advance towards the capital of Ukraine. Our military is powerful, heroic and professional. After a fierce battle, they destroyed the enemy, and the tankers of the occupying army were not destined to see the capital of our Motherland," the statement says.
Yesterday, in the Chernihiv region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed the military unit which had the weapon from which the enemy carried out rocket attacks on Chernihiv.
