The press service of the Kyiv City State Administration informed that the occupiers had performed artillery shelling at the Pushcha-Vodytsia psychoneurological boarding school on the outskirts of Kyiv.
One shell hit the boiler room, damaging the roof with destruction inside. The second shell hit the morgue. As a result of the blast wave, the residential building of the institution was also partially destroyed.
At the moment of the shelling, boarding school patients and staff were not in the building; they had been evacuated to a safer place earlier. Currently, specialists are working at the site of the shelling.
On 13 March, the Russian occupiers killed an American journalist in Irpin.
Also, near Chernihiv, the Ukrainian military defeated an enemy tank unit that was to advance in the direction of Kyiv.
Meanwhile, Kyiv is preparing for a possible blockade. The city has a two-week food supply for two million Kyivites left in the capital.
