Ukrainian military and defenders are destroying Russian occupiers, the enemy's losses are being counted, the enemy is currently blocked, and there is no intense active confrontation, the Deputy Minister of Defense, Hanna Maliar reported.
“Where are the dead enemies? Why has the official data not changed from “over 12,000” in the last few days? Don’t worry; we are fiercely destroying the enemy. As fiercely as the enemy is ruining our cities and villages. But counting the enemy personnel losses is not the priority during combat,” she wrote on Facebook.
Maliar explained that the situation is dynamic, and as of now, the enemy has been stopped. Currently, there are no active confrontations compared to a few days ago.
"The decrease in the intensity of the enemy's offensive potential is a sign of truly great losses and the need to recruit personnel," the deputy minister explained.
Maliar also stressed that counting the enemy's losses during the active phase of the war is very difficult, and it is challenging to establish an exact figure. However, several calculation techniques are used.
“That means that after the combat, no one is going over there with the calculator, to put it very simply…The figures come from various sources, often with a few days delay. It depends on the situation on the ground,” the deputy minister added.
According to the information from the General Staff, the total combat losses of the Russian occupiers as of the morning of March 13 are approximately 12,000 people, 74 aircraft, and 86 helicopters.
