Volodymyr Klytschko turned to Russians who are still able to think. His video address was posted by his brother, the mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitaliy Klytschko.
“It is not we who came to your land! It is you who are killing our children, bombing, and razing our cities and houses to the ground! With your imperial ambitions, invasion of Ukraine and barbarism of your so-called army, you have sown hatred forever,” Volodymyr Klytschko said.
He pointed out that there are no “good” and “bad” Russians for Ukrainians, as far as with the tacit consent of Russian citizens Ukraine is being destroyed now.
“Do you want to be a country in total isolation? If you don’t, so do not tremble with fear. Be brave, like the Ukrainians. Save your country. While we will not give up ours,” Volodymyr Klytschko called on the Russian people.
