Russian forces may enter Kyiv, but they won’t find friends among us - Zelenskyy

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy assessed the likelihood of Russian forces entering Kyiv.

While speaking with foreign journalists, he indicated that only if Russia decides to send tens and hundreds of thousands of mobilized military personnel towards the city, and they all come in tanks, would the possibility of Russian forces entering Kyiv exist.

“We understand this. If they continue carpet bombing and simply decide to erase the historical heritage of the whole region, the history of Kyiv Rus, of Europe - they may be able to enter. If they decide to eliminate all of us - they may be able to enter. If this is their goal, let them come. But they will be alone in these lands. They will not find friends among us,” - commented the President.

As a reminder, the Office of the General Staff office informed the public that the enemy is trying to encircle Kyiv. Ukrainian defenders are fighting off attacks on the outskirts of the capital.
