The foreign company plans to transmit six An-158 planes to Ukroboronprom.
Yuri Gusev the general director of the concern announced on his Facebook page.
"Just now one of the foreign companies has officially applied to us to the State Concern "Ukroboronprom" to provide for the needs of our aviation six aircrafts An-158, which, of course, are not combat, but can and will after maintenance and repair perform special flights to deliver everything we need under martial law", - said Gusev.
He noted that people in Ukraine are working to obtain combat aircraft for the air forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi urged the partners to stop "ping-pong" in the issue of providing aircraft to Ukraine and finally transfer aircraft in his daily address on March 9.
The Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki stated that the decision to transfer the planes to Ukraine should be confirmed by NATO.
