About 200 people were evacuated from Vuhledar and other settlements of Volnovakha district.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported this on its Facebook page

Law enforcement officers evacuated several buses of women, children, and the elderly from danger. They were joined by citizens in their own vehicles. The convoy was escorted by police who provided security during the evacuation. Now the evacuees have reached their first destination, from where they are being sent to other regions of Ukraine through Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia). Places of refuge have already been organized for them," the Ministry said.

Ugledar and nearby villages are under crushing fire from the Russian occupiers, law enforcers say.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the aggressor used prohibited cluster munitions during the shelling of Ugledar. The targets were a hospital and residential buildings. 

An evacuation convoy left Zaporizhzhya for Mariupol on March 12. The convoy was accompanied by priests.

Civilians from Mariupol, Volnovakha, Izyum, Makarov, Borodyanka, and villages of Kyiv Region could not be evacuated due to violations of the ceasefire by the Russians on March 11.

This was announced by the Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, Iryna Vereshchuk.
