On March 15 US State Secretary Anthony Blinken and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba held a phone conversation. Blinken announced the same on his Twitter account.
The Head of the State Department confirmed that the US intended to hold Volodymyr Putin accountable for the shelling of the Ukrainian cities. "Today I had a conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba," the Secretary of State wrote. I reaffirmed the United States' continued support for the Ukrainian people and its intention to hold Putin accountable for his unjustified and inhumane bombing of Ukraine," - the statement said.
Earlier, Blinken said that Putin rejected all US proposals regarding de-escalation of the conflict in Ukraine and, on the contrary, intensified his military campaign.
