Russia fired on the shelter of the charity NGO SOS Children's Villages Ukraine in Severodonetsk (Luhansk region), where mothers with children are staying.

The national director for developing programs "SOS Children's Villages", Daria Kasyanova, announced this on Facebook.

"Mothers with babies and our team are alive and safe," Kasyanova said.

At the beginning of March, the occupying forces launched shells in the kindergarten and several other objects in Severodonetsk.

On 12 March, the General Staff announced that Russia planned to seize Severodonetsk, Mariupol, and to block Chernihiv.

On 14 March, about 400 residents were evacuated from Severodonetsk.
