On the morning of 19 March, soldiers of the Azov Regiment carried out a special operation and inflicted significant losses on the enemy in Mariupol.

It is known that during the special operation, soldiers of the Azov Regiment raided the enemy command post and the rear command post, during which ammunition depots, enemy officers, and an infantry platoon were destroyed. According to preliminary data, 1 tank, 2 armored personnel carriers and trucks were destroyed.
It was reported by the deputy mayor of Mariupol Sergey Orlov that the Russian occupiers destroyed the Azovstal metallurgical plant.
On average, the Russian occupiers drop 50 to 100 bombs a day on Mariupol. As a result, according to preliminary estimates, about 80% of the city's housing stock has been destroyed, of which almost 30% cannot be restored. Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba said that Mariupol, now surrounded by Russian troops, is experiencing the worst humanitarian catastrophe on Earth.
