The Luhansk Regional State Administration head, Serhiy Haidai, announced that Russians had destroyed 24 houses in Rubizhne and Severodonetsk over the past 24 hours.
"In total, the shelling of the Russian army in these two cities damaged or destroyed about 30 facilities on 19 March. These include 12 apartment buildings and 12 private homes, an educational institution in Rubizhne, warehouses, farm buildings, infrastructure facilities," said Haidai in the message.
Haidai said that three people were killed during the shelling in Rubizhne, including two children. One child was injured.
Currently, 23 settlements are left without gas supply; and seven settlements are partially left without it, about 35,000 customers. Twenty-six settlements are entirely left without electricity supply, and 12 settlements are partly without it. Ninety-eight thousand three hundred sixty-four consumers are without electricity, 627 transformer substations are disconnected.
Employees of the Severodonetsk CHP and communal services, despite the shelling, have repaired the damaged network several times this month and returned heat to the homes of citizens.
"Our rescuers went to work on 24 February; since then, they haven't been home. The Russian invasion caused 19 powerful fires in the Luhansk region yesterday. The SES rescued seven residents of the region. In addition, SES officers remained to dismantle the debris after the fire, delivering water and food to the population in the bomb shelters," wrote the head of the Luhansk region.
Earlier, the Russian occupation forces fired on the civilian population of Kreminna in the Luhansk region from MRLS Grad.
