Valerii Zaluzhnyi, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has thanked the foundation ‘Come Back Alive’ for the money raised for the army’s needs. ‘Come Back Alive’ is the biggest foundation of competent assistance to the army in Ukraine.

“From 24 February to 18 March the organization’s team raised 2,291,324,310.43 hryvnyas for the army. This is apart from cryptocurrency and cash transfers. In the first three weeks of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the foundation bought equipment valued at 1,193,849,577.33 hryvnyas and distributed tens of thousands of technical equipment units to our defenders. That equipment includes 7,954 means of communication of different types, 2,546 helmets, 1,293 units of television, night and other optics, 1,312 bulletproof vests, and 573 quadcopters,” Zaluzhnyi states.

He also notes that “the ‘Come Back Alive’ team are simple Ukrainians who have been working for our victory since 2014. I know a lot of them personally. Lesia, who does finance. The analyst, who has become an intelligence officer again. Those workers of the foundation who lost their own homes. Pasha, who helped evacuate a grandfather abandoned in the “grey zone”, yesterday under the shelling. And other team members, who are rescuing Ukraine 24/7, shoulder to shoulder with us”.
