The Ukrainian military has shot down a missile from Tactical Operational Missile Complex Tochka-U. This has been reported by ArmiaInform, the information agency of the Ministry of Defence.
According to ArmiaInform, the missile was shot down with the help of man-portable air-defense system Stinger.
“Our militaries near Popasna have shot down a Tocka-U from MPADS Stinger! It turns out, a missile is easily shot down with a Stinger. Our militaries never fail to amaze us!” the information agency states.
Earlier, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine shared a list of military personnel of the 448th Rocket Brigade (Military Unit Number 35525) from Kliukva village in the Kursk region, which had tactical operational missile complexes 9K79-1 Tochka-U.
