The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Valeriy Zaluzhnyy, appealed to politicians who, "while in the rear cities, talk about "betrayal" and make "assessments" of the operational situation."
"By your irresponsible statements, - for example, that the enemy allegedly took some [territory or city] without problems or that the surrender of the country is being prepared, you are insulting our soldiers," he said. - The defense forces heroically oppose the enemy, who was called the second army in the world. We stopped the enemy in all directions. We inflicted such losses on them that they had never seen or imagined. All Ukrainians know this. The world knows about it."
The Commander-in-Chief reminded that the 24th day of resistance to full-scale aggression continues.
"Resistance made possible by national unity, our training and motivation," he said. - So, I appeal to you: do not humiliate our defenders with your "expert assessments". It's not you now on the first line of defense. And not your children. Everyone should do their job. We are defending Ukraine. You care about its development and do not interfere with us. I invite those who want to defend the country to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine."
