Russians shelled Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, Popasna: 12 houses destroyed, people injured

Russian occupants continued to shell cities in Luhansk region: Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, and Popasna came under heavy fire. RBC-Ukraine reported this with reference to the head of the Luhansk regional military administration Serhiy Haidai.

As a result, 12 residential buildings were destroyed. Rescuers pulled five people out of the rubble; two people were injured.

“The Russians have again opened heavy fire on Severodonetsk, Rubizhne, Popasna. Our cities are holding strong defense, and the Armed Forces are beating the enemy. But we again have about 20 buildings damaged or destroyed, including three multi-apartment buildings and nine private houses, a food warehouse, garages, and infrastructure facilities,” Haidai said.

He also added that attempts by the Russian army to seize large settlements were unsuccessful, so the occupants had chosen tactics of terror against the civilian population. “This is russia, we should not expect anything else from it. Fortunately, no one was found dead during yesterday shelling, but two were injured - in Popasna and Komyshuvas. Five people were rescued from the rubble.”

Four people were killed, and one person was injured in a missile attack on Kyiv by Russia on Sunday evening, as reported earlier.
