This is said in a collective statement of the State Kyiv Design Bureau "Luch" addressed to the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal, and Secretary of the NSDC (National Security and Defense Council), Oleksiy Danilov, Censor.NET reports.
The staff of State Kyiv Design Bureau "Luch," which, risking their own life, has been providing the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and other defense forces with the necessary weapons since the first days of the war is outraged by the actions of Ukroboronprom. These include detention, search, pressure, and threats against the Acting Director of Spetsoboronmash Denys Serdiuk.
We believe that due to his courage and bravery while protecting the state interests of Ukraine and the merits in strengthening the defense and security of Ukraine, the Acting Director of SE "Spetsoboronmash" Denys Serdiuk should be awarded," - says the statement.
The team believes that the leaders of SE "Ukroboronprom," who organized detention, search, pressure, and threatening of Denys Serdiuk," should be immediately removed from their positions and brought to justice.
Such "brave" actions of the SE "Ukroboronprom" managers stay in contrast to their de facto self-exclusion from the coordination of the State Kyiv Design Bureau Luch member companies in the first two weeks of the war. The management of SE "Ukroboronprom" was paralyzed during the most challenging days when quick, solid, and risky decisions were needed. The directors of defense-related enterprises took these decisions on their own. Unlike SE "Ukroboronprom" managers, they are responsible for the lives of their employees, material-technical base, and final products of their companies.
Only after the words of the President of Ukraine on reaching a strategic turning point in the war did the leadership of SE "Ukroboronprom" visit our company. This happened on 11 March 2022. However, they did not come to provide assistance or take responsibility but to conduct inspections and place charges. Given the above, we believe that to let the State Kyiv Design Bureau "Luch" supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine with our products in the future, it is necessary to immediately transfer the company to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine subordination. This should be done to assure the formation of rocket building enterprises' holding led by the State Kyiv Design Bureau "Luch" - appealed the staff.
Earlier in the State Kyiv Design Bureau "Luch," there was information spread that the representatives of SE "Ukroboronprom heavily beat the Acting Director of SE "Spetsoboronmash." Ukroboronprom denied this fact.
