Ukrainian Intelligence Has Released Names of 966 Soldiers of Taman Division of Russian Federation Defeated Near Kharkiv

The Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has published lists of Russian servicemen of the 1st tank regiment who are involved in war crimes against the people of Ukraine.

The names of 966 Russian soldiers are published on the GUR website via the link.

The 1st tank regiment of the 2nd guards Taman motorized infantry division (military unit 58198) is based in the town of Kalininets, Moscow region. Units of the division took part in the August 1991 coup and the October 1993 coup, and fought in the Second Chechen Campaign. On March 2, the division was defeated near Kharkiv.

Adviser to the head of the OPU (Office of the president of Ukraine) Olexiy Arestovych reported that near Kharkiv, the Armed Forces defeated the military of Russia's first tank army and captured an elite unit of the Russian army. Journalist Yuriy Butusov said that 22 tank soldiers from the 2nd guards Taman tank division with commanders surrendered to the Ukrainians.
