Deputies of Putin's "United Russia" were banned from leaving Russia without the decision of the leader of the faction Vladimir Vasilyev.
The Russian media Holod reported, citing an order, signed by Vasilyev.
If a deputy wants to leave Russia, he must inform Vasilyev about the country, purpose and date of departure.
Western media, citing sources, reported that all the "United Russia" members may be included in the sanctions list as early as this week. Such a restrictive measure is seen as the next package of sanctions for the war waged by Russia against Ukraine.
So far, the sanctions have targeted members of the Russian State Duma who led efforts to recognize the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics, including Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin and Russian Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov.
