Representatives of the civil-military administrations demand an under-the-table payment from volunteers for providing letters for the passage of humanitarian aid across the customs border of Ukraine. "Tariff" - or 10% of the bill, or 100 cars.
This was stated by the head of the Return Alive Foundation Taras Chmut.
"I am very sorry when representatives of the Dnieper and Vinnytsia civil-military administrations (and others) demand an under the table payment from volunteers for providing letters on the passage of humanitarian aid across the customs border of Ukraine under martial law for defenders of the state," Chmut wrote on Facebook on 23 March.
"Mr. Serhiy Borzov, Mr. Ihor Makovtsev, the country will definitely remember your "help "during the war. After the victory. In the meantime, let your names be recorded somewhere in the public sphere," he added. The head of the Return Alive Foundation called on the Office of the President of Ukraine to bring order "with those you have appointed."
The Cabinet of Ministers has simplified the import of humanitarian aid. From 23 March only a declaration at customs is required.
