The Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synehubov denied Russian media reports that the occupying army had allegedly taken control of Izyum.
"They have no choice but to lie about the alleged 'victory' on their propaganda channels to avoid mentioning the disgraceful defeats they suffer in the suburbs of Izium," noted the Khrarkiv region official.
He assured that the Armed Forces of Ukraine hold positions in this direction. The Ukrainian army immediately attacks those who try to get closer to the city.
"And even the concentration of Russian troops near Izyum does not help the russists (translator's note - Russian faschists) to promote their positions. Our troops are defending the city both on the ground and in the air. Now fierce fighting continues," said the head of the regional military administration.
He urges not to believe the false propaganda of the Russians, but to trust the official information and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
