Missiles that strike Rivne region fly from the territory of Belarus. The TV tower was also shelled from the territory of the so-called “brother” people.
This information was announced on the TV channel ‘Nastoyaschee Vremya’ by the head of Rivne Regional Military Administration (RMA), Vitaliy Koval, as Radio ‘Track’ reports.
“These are, first of all, missiles launched from the ground and missiles dropped from airplanes. They hit military infrastructure. Last week, their target was a civilian infrastructure facility - a TV tower... Missiles and airplanes that are dropping them are flying from the territory of Belarus,” Koval said.
According to the Head of the RMA, peoples, who used to go together for berries and mushrooms to the same forest, are now separated by war. Belarus is a place of arms not only for aircraft but also for other enemy equipment.
When asked about the possible invasion of Belarusian troops into Ukraine through Rivne and Volyn, Vitaliy Koval said that the war has been going on for 28 days, and all this time, the region has been preparing for such a development.
“Rivne and Volyn regions have impassable forests and swamps. Now it is a fortified area with a very long partisan tradition. We still hope that common sense will prevail in the neighboring country,” he said.
Vitaliy Koval confirmed that daily reports show the movement of equipment at the border in Belarus. However, he noted that the Ukrainian military knows about all the movements.
