The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue inflicting heavy losses on the enemy. Within the past five days, about 600 bodies of the personnel of the First tank army of the Western military district, killed in Ukraine, were delivered to the Nizhniy Novgorod region in Russia, informed the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via its Telegram-channel.
"According to our sources, in the past five days, about 600 bodies of the personnel killed in Ukraine were brought to the military garrisons in the Nizhniy Novgorod region. Most of them had been deployed in the 47th tank division of the First tank army of the Western military district," says the report.
Russia has lost about 16 600 personnel in its war with Ukraine, reported the General Staff of AFoU on March 27. Among other losses are 582 tanks.
It was reported earlier that Russian "deconservated" military equipment is in a bad state, and a Russian tank commander committed suicide.
