Russia is shooting staged videos about the allegedly inhumane treatment of russian prisoners of war by Ukrainian militaries. This is done to discredit the Defense Forces of Ukraine, said Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valeriy Zaluzhnyi.

"I emphasize that militaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other legitimate military units strictly adhere to the norms of international humanitarian law. I urge you to consider the realities of information and psychological war and trust only official sources of information," - he said.

Today, a video of an allegedly Russian prisoner of war telling how he is being tortured was spread on the Internet. Official sources did not publish this information.

The Ukrainian authorities have repeatedly emphasized that Ukrainian militaries treat prisoners of war in accordance with the Geneva Convention. The occupiers that were taken as prisoners of war also confirmed this.
