On the night of March 30, the russian army launched a missile strike on Khmelnytsky. This is the first time since russia's invasion of Ukraine.
According to the mayor Oleksandr Symchyshyn, there were no casualties.
"As for Khmelnytsky, this night and this strike was the first since February 24. From all that can be said, the situation is completely under control. All relevant services worked clearly and efficiently. The situation is under complete control. Currently, the lives of Khmelnytsky residents and refugees living in our country are not in danger. No one was injured", – Symchyshyn said to "24 channel".
The head of the Khmelnytsky regional military administration, Serhiy Gamaliy, said on the afternoon of March 29, the enemy fired a missile at a military facility in Starokostiantyniv. At night there were three strikes on industrial facilities of the region.
Rescuers have so far localized the fires. Information about the victims is being clarified.
