The Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valeriy Gerasimov promised Putin to conduct a successful offensive in Ukraine and in 3-4 days to reach the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

This was stated by the Adviser to the chief of the president's office Oleksiy Arestovych.

"Gerasimov made an unfortunate mistake and will probably end his career badly. Another unfortunate, sad lesson," he said, adding that even all the reserves of the Russian Federation collected will not help to implement the task in such a time.

Oleksiy Arestovych also noted that the Russian leadership is inadequately assessing the situation at the front.

According to the estimates of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy does not abandon its intention to surround the Joint Forces and reach the administrative borders of Luhansk and Donetsk regions. The Russians are also carrying out assault operations in order to reach the administrative borders of the Kherson region.

Moreover, the Sumy Region Military Administration announced today that a large number of Russian troops had entered the region.
