Special Company Formed in Kyiv to Protect Critical Infrastructure – Klychko

A special company for protecting the critical infrastructure facilities was formed in Kyiv, - the mayor of Kyiv Vitalii Klychko reported. He showed a video of the fighters giving oath.

“Kyiv keeps strengthening its defence. Namely, the protection and security of the key critical infrastructure, which ensure the functioning of our city, including electricity, water, gas, heating and others. The enemy keeps bombing Ukrainian cities. Among other things, they have repeatedly attempted to damage objects of life support infrastructure of the capital. To take these facilities under reliable protection, a special security company of the battalion of the military unit was formed in Kyiv. Seven deputies of Kyiv City Council are among the personnel,” the mayor notes.

The mayor of Kyiv also reports that the members of this special company have taken the oath of allegiance to the people of Ukraine.

“Today the fighters defending the capital’s critical infrastructure have taken the oath of allegiance to the people of Ukraine. They have already been trained and have the necessary practical experience and skills to defend such facilities under martial law. The city closely collaborates with the leaders of the Ukrainian Ground Forces to defend the capital in all areas. We will stand and win together! Glory to Ukraine!” Klychko summarized.
