On April 2, several rockets exploded in the Gorky Central Park of Culture and Recreation in Kharkiv. People worked in the park during the shelling.

As a result of the shelling, a 57-year-old gardener was injured and taken to hospital. Also due to the shelling, old trees were broken, the stage in the retro park and some cafes were damaged.
“This is not the first time the Russians have fired on the Gorky Park from BM-21 "Grad". This is one of the favorite vacation spots of Kharkiv residents“, said the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleg Sinegubov.
It will be recalled that as of April 2, the hottest spot in the Kharkiv region remains Izyum, around which hostilities continue, said the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration Oleh Synegubov.
Previously the russian occupation forces fired artillery, mortar and tank fire on Kharkiv - in the areas of Saltivka, Pyatihatka, Oleksiyivka, HTZ, Kholodna Gora, Kulinichi, Velyka Danylivka, Dergachi. In total, about 46 strikes were recorded in the city on March 31.
