Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have struck at least 21 times using artillery, mortars and tanks at different areas of Kharkiv including Saltivka, Pyatihatok, Oleksiyivka, the center of Kharkiv, and Dergachi.

The head of the Kharkiv Region Military Administration (RMA) Oleg Synegubov wrote about this in the Telegram.

"We do not observe combat aircrafts, but the enemy is conducting active reconnaissance and launching unmanned aerial vehicles. It is the hottest in the Izium direction in the region, where our Armed Forces are actively fighting the occupiers. However, the enemy's defensive positions near Izium are now more vulnerable, as Russian forces are concentrating in the direction of Donbass", - he wrote.

In order to avoid possible consequences of hostilities in the towns of Izium district, the population is being evacuated.

"Yesterday the occupiers fired on Lozova again. As a result of the rocket attack, 4 people were injured, houses were damaged, more than 60,000 people were without water, more than 40,000 were without electricity. Local authorities and public utilities are actively working to restore," - Synegubov added.

In Balaklia, the occupiers fired from Russian tanks at the Central District Hospital. The building is partially damaged, so patients and staff need to be evacuated immediately. Today they plan to evacuate about 70 people.

russia continues to fire on Kharkiv using various weapons, including MLRS “Grad”. The hottest point of the region is Izium which is the third largest city in Kharkiv region, where the Russians have already destroyed 80% of housing.

From April 2 to 3, rescuers from the Kharkiv region went on call 79 times, including 28 to extinguish fires caused by shelling.
