The Russian Federation continues full-scale military aggression against our State.The enemy focuses its main efforts on preparations for the offensive operation, which aims to establish full control over the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, - the statement says.
The threat of enemy use of ship, air and land-based missiles remains. The occupants fire at defense complex objects, logistic infrastructure and residential areas of cities.
At the same time the enemy is attempting to improve its tactical location in the South Buh direction. The use of territory of the self-proclaimed Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (Transnistria) for support of the offensive operation cannot be ruled out in this direction. Tiraspol airport is preparing to receive aircraft.
The enemy does not abandon attempts to use mercenaries from other countries in fighting in Ukraine to make up for the losses in manpower. At the same time, the use of mercenaries will not have a significant impact on the course of the combat operations, given their small number.
The commanders of the 200th separate motorized infantry brigade (Pechenga, Murmansk region) of the 14th army corps, two battalions of tactical groups of which took part in the fighting in Ukraine, are training the serviceman to make up for the losses. According to the available information, total losses of the manpower in the brigade are about 30%. One battalion tactical group is destroyed, the other is withdrawn to regain combat capability to the Belgorod region.
There are no signs of forming offensive groups by the enemy in the Volyn direction. Certain units of the Republic of Belarus Armed Forces continue the task to protect parts of the Ukraine-Belarus border.
The occupants didn’t take any active action in the Polissia direction. Part of the units, withdrawn from the above direction, are on the territory of the Republic of Belarus. They continue recovery measures, presumably to regroup and strengthen other units. It is possible that Russian troops will remain on the territory of the Republic of Belarus in order to restrain the Armed Forces of Ukraine and prevent their transfer to other areas. The other goal is to assist the Republic of Belarus with protecting parts of the Belarus-Ukraine border.
In the Siversk direction, restoration of the occupant enemy units, previously withdrawn to Bryansk and Kursk regions of the Russian Federation, .
In Slobozhanschyna direction the enemy continues to block the city of Kharkiv and to launch artillery shelling in certain areas.
According to the available information, losses of the 236th artillery brigade of the 20th combined arms force are around 20% of the personnel and weapons. This significantly reduced the intensity of the brigades actions.
In Izyum direction the occupants are not abandoning the plans to form a strike group and continue the offensive towards settlements of Slovyansk and Barvinkove.
In Donetsk direction the enemy is attempting to improve the tactical location of its units. It continues the offensive in the area of the settlements of Popasna, Stepne, Novotoshkivske, Rubizhne, Severodonetsk and Solodke. Without success.
Russian occupants continue active use of ammunition that international humanitarian law prohibits. They continue attempts to attack Mariupol. Defenders of the city are holding heroic defense for over forty days, restraining the units of the Russian invaders.
In Tavriia direction, in the area of the settlement of Basan, movement of certain units of the 58th combined armed force were registered, presumably in order to regroup.
In South Buh direction the enemy is taking measures to regain combat ability and performs fortification activities of its positions. They continue to terrorise the civilians on the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine in the Kherson region.
As a result of the offensive of Ukrainian Armed Forces the enemy lost control of the settlements of Dobryanka, Novovoznesenske and Trudolyubivka. Active fighting continues in the area of the settlement of Oleksandrivka.
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 8 cruise missiles in the previous day. The Air Force aviation continued to support the ground forces of the Armed Force and launched air strikes on the occupants army.
