On Tuesday, 5 April 2022, SAM units of the Air Force shot down eight cruise missiles of the Russian occupiers.
The Command of the Air Force of the UAF (Armed Forces of Ukraine) reported this information.
"As reported earlier, the enemy has changed air combat tactics: russians avoid entering our air defense zone and direct contact with fighters. Instead, they launch missile strikes from the air, including the airspace of Belarus," - says the message.
The Air Forces continue to support the actions of the Ground Forces of the Defense Forces, launching airstrikes on the occupiers.
During the week, SAM units of the Air Force shot down more than 30 air targets of the enemy.
