The russian military command complains of increased informational influence on its soldiers by the Ukrainian Armed Forces and special services. Therefore, the russian occupiers will increase the “level of control over access to information and communication in messengers” – reported by the Chief Directorate of Intelligence (CDI) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

The CDI received an “Extract from the order of the deputy commander of the western military district for military and political affairs [of russia]”, which the command of occupiers sent to military units.

“The document states that “commanders of all ranks have faced opposition from personnel”, who express dissatisfaction with the war in Ukraine. According to the russian command, Internet and popular messengers should be blamed for the decline in motivation and panic in the troops,” Ukrainian intelligence comments.

The extract states that the Ukrainian side influences russian soldiers with “distorted” facts from russia’s history, manipulates “thoughts using agents of influence”, and spreads “fake” information about events and the situation in the war zone.

“The very fact of the issuance of such a document testifies to the effectiveness of the Ukrainian information troops in counteracting the propaganda among the occupiers,” the Central Directorate of Intelligence Agency comments.

The russian command has ordered measures to “limit the access of personnel to the telecommunication and Internet networks from personal mobile devices with enhanced multimedia capabilities.”

“According to the occupiers, the use of modern technologies leads to an increase in the theft of documents with a restrictive mark ‘For official use’. Therefore, control of such leaks is only possible by increasing control over access to information and communication in messengers,” CDI emphasizes.

The exchange of messages and access to any information posted on the Internet will be fully banned or censored.

The chief of intelligence of one of the divisions of the aggressor’s army wrote the resignation request because of the huge losses of the occupiers. He accused his commander of ignoring all available intelligence about the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Earlier, Ukrainian intelligence reported an increasing number of russian servicemen crossing over to Ukraine and bringing weapons.
