The russian occupiers launched mobile crematoriums in Mariupol "to cover up their tracks" of the murders of civilians.
After the evidence of the mass murders of civilians in Bucha shocked the whole world, the russian leadership ordered to destroy all evidence of criminals of its army in Mariupol. A week ago, "cautious" estimates pointed to 5,000 victims, reported the Mariupol City Council.
"But given the size of the city, catastrophic destruction, the duration of the blockade, and hard resistance, tens of thousands of Mariupol civilians could be victims of the occupiers. That is why Russia is not in a hurry to give green light to Turkey's mission and other initiatives to save and fully evacuate Mariupol. In addition, all potential witnesses to the atrocities of the occupiers are trying to identify through the filter camps and destroy," - noted in the message.
According to witnesses, the Rashists engaged special brigades and terrorists of the "DPR" for clearance operation. They collect and burn the bodies of the tortured and murdered citizens of Mariupol by the Russians.
Kostiantyn Ivashchenko, self-proclaimed mayor-collaborator, coordinates the work of these groups. The City Council says that for many years he and his supporters repeatedly tried to seize power, but in the end he managed to become the director of the Mariupol crematorium.
"The scale of the tragedy in Mariupol the world has not seen since the existence of Nazi concentration camps. The rassists turned our entire city into a death camp. Unfortunately, the creepy analogy gets more and more confirmations. It's not Chechnya or Aleppo anymore. This is the new Auschwitz and Maidanek. The world should help punish Putin's savages," - said the Mayor of Mariupol, Vadym Boichenko.
Earlier, the russians continue to keep Mariupol under siege, interfere with centralized evacuation, and shell the city.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that now it is very difficult to organize the unblocking of Mariupol under military duress.
The Security Service of Ukraine warns that the russian occupiers are planning a provocation in Mariupol to accuse Ukraine. It is noted that the main task of russian propaganda today is to switch the attention of the audience (both international and domestic) as much as possible to the mass murder of civilians by the russian occupiers in the Kyiv region.
