“The Russian troops destroyed the railway station. Its functioning has been suspended”, Oleksandr Senkevych, the mayor, informed on Facebook on the evening of April 6.
The attack was conducted days earlier, not on Wednesday. Information is currently being gathered about the damage in the city caused by enemy shelling.
"Since the beginning of the Russian bombing, 55 educational institutions were damaged in the city," the mayor said.
During the last day of the bombing, the Russians damaged 28 houses. There is a contact center at the Mykolaiv City Council. The people can call it by phone 1588 and receive a film to repair broken windows.
Those people who would like to be evacuated can do it by bus. To do this, they need to find a form for evacuation on Senkevych's page and fill it in. The call center will contact the appropriate person before the evacuation.
This week the Russians attacked Mykolaiv with cluster shells. As a result of the shelling on April 5, 10 people were killed and more than 60 were injured.
Before, the enemy attacked the regional state administration, killing 36 people.
