Some russian helicopters previously based in the Republic of Belarus have been moved to the Seshcha airfield in the Briansk region of russia. "Schemes" reported this information with reference to satellite images as of 6 April 2022.

Now, according to the publication, one can see, among others, 19 fighters and at least 20 military helicopters at Seshcha airfield. In addition, military transport aircraft AN-124 and IL-76 are also there; Sechna airfield is their base.

Earlier, the telegram channel "Belaruski Haiun" reported that since 3 April 2022, some russian Mi-8, Mi-26, and Ka-52 helicopters have taken off from Machulyshchi Airport near Minsk, Belarus, towards Seshcha.

Journalists say one can see these helicopters in a satellite image taken on 28 March 2022 and showing the part of Machulyshchi airport.

The journalists of "Schemes" note that before the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, the round-shaped airfield Seshcha in the Bryansk region was used mainly for military transport aircraft IL-76 and AN-124-100. Then, bombers and fighters began to come there about a month before the war.
