"Search for truth can no longer be stopped": Zelenskyy on the atrocities of russians

Because of the whole world's rage at the atrocities of russian troops in Bucha and other cities of the Kyiv region, the occupiers are trying to put away the killed people from the streets and basements of the occupied territory to hide the evidence, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in his appeal.

But they will not manage to avoid responsibility, the head of state said.

"We already know about thousands of missing people. We already know about thousands of people who could have been either deported to russia or killed. There are no other options for their fate.

Thanks to an objective investigation, thanks to witnesses, thanks to satellite surveillance of events on earth, thanks to other tools that help to establish the truth, we will find out all the circumstances (of disappearance - tr.) of most of our missing citizens. And about most of russia's war crimes on the territory of Ukraine," Zelenskyy said.

According to him, the search for the truth can no longer be stopped.

"If the world has started a debate about whether it is acceptable to call genocide what the russian military did on the territory of Ukraine, the search for truth can no longer be stopped. It can not be rolled back. It’s only possible to give up on further aggression against Ukraine quicker and try to reduce the damage to russian statehood and to those who personally make key decisions in russia.

If not, if nothing changes, then it is suicide. Suicide for all those who choose the option of continuing the war," the President concluded.

Today the Mariupol city council declared the use of mobile crematoria by the russian troops which occupiers brought with themselves, "to cover up tracks" of murders of civilians.
