On Tuesday, April 5, the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic adopted a resolution condemning the war crimes committed by the russian military in Ukraine and calling for the punishment of the perpetrators and sanctions strengthening against russia.
This was announced by the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Czech Republic Yevhen Perebyinis
The diplomat emphasized that the Czech deputies adopted the document unanimously, which is extremely rare.
The resolution states in particular that the crime is not only a "large-scale and unprovoked war in Europe", which russia began in February 2022 but also an aggression against Ukraine in 2014, when Russia occupied Crimea and the eastern part of the country.
Members of the lower house of the Parliament of the Czech Republic believe that all those perpetrators of war crimes should be punished and russia “must be punished for waging war, including reparations”.
The document requires the withdrawal of all russian troops not only from Ukraine but also from Belarus, Georgia, and Moldova.
In addition, the origin of funds for which russian citizens bought real estate and other assets in the Czech Republic has to be carefully investigated.
Deputies call for support for russians and belarusians who have confronted the Kremlin's actions in Ukraine, as well as for further support for Moldova and Georgia, which are threatened by the presence of russian troops on their territory.
We remind that President Zelenskyy invited Merkel and Sarkozy to visit Bucha and see what the policy of concessions to russia for 14 years has brought.
World leaders demand prosecution of all those involved in the "Bucha massacre".
A meeting of the UN Security Council is currently taking place, convened because of the atrocities of the russians in Bucha. Addressing its participants, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that russia has turned its right of veto in the Security Council into the death right. And if the United Nations can’t eliminate russia as a source of war, it must eliminate itself. Because not only Ukraine, but the whole world needs peace.
