Verkhovna Rada passes law on remuneration for functioning Russian military equipment transferred to the Armed Forces

During the Verkhovna Rada sitting on April 1, 320 members of parliament voted for the Law "On Establishment of Remuneration for Voluntary Transfer of Functioning Combat Equipment of the Aggressor State to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the MP from “Servant of the People” fraction, Pavlo Frolov, wrote on his Telegram

“With the law 7229, we established amounts and conditions for remunerations for the voluntary transfer of the functioning combat equipment of the aggressor state to the Armed Forces of Ukraine:

aircraft or 1-2 rank ship - $1 million,

helicopter, 3-4 rank ship - $500 thousand,

supply ship - $200 thousand,

tank - $100 thousand,

infantry fighting vehicle - $50 thousand,

multiple rocket launcher - $25-35 thousand,

military vehicle - $10 thousand.», - the MP wrote.

According to him, Russian servicemen “in that case are granted confidentiality, new documents, protection on the territory of Ukraine or facilitation in moving to the third country. Ukrainian military or regular Ukrainian citizens can also receive a remuneration,” Frolov said.

At the same time, the head of the “Servant of the People” party, Olena Shuliak, added on her Telegram that “Russian servicemen will have more incentives to undermine the potential of their army and express their attitude towards this shameful war: besides remunerations, they will be guaranteed secrecy, safe stay in Ukraine and they will also receive help with getting new documents and leaving for a third country.”

According to her, this law will also support our “tractor troops” and the Ukrainian military.

“Because the servicemen of the UAF and regular Ukrainian citizens who capture combat-ready equipment can receive these payments. The enemy still has a lot of military equipment, much more than we. We have to expand our military equipment units in every possible way,” Shuliak stressed.

At the beginning of March, the head of the parliament fraction “Servant of the People,” Davyd Arakhamia, stated that the state concern Ukroboronprom is ready to pay an award of $ 1,000,000 for a stolen or trophy aircraft. "There is also a $500,000 program for a captured helicopter in operation," Arakhamia said.
