The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk sent the official invitations to his colleagues, Speakers of the EU Parliaments and G20 with an offer to visit the liberated territories of Kyiv region, Bucha or Irpin in particular.
Stefanchuk announced this on his Facebook.
“I have sent the official invitations to the Speakers of the EU Parliaments and G20 with an offer to visit the liberated territories, in particular Bucha or Irpin,” he mentioned.
The Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada is sure that "for the last few days the names of the cities stopped to be just geographic points on a map. For millions they became hot spots in their heart."
Stefanchuk emphasized that this visit will not leave world politicians indifferent.
“After all, only seeing all this with your own eyes you will understand why we are in so much pain and why we are knocking so loudly on the doors of your parliaments. And we believe that they will be opened to those who knock,” he added.
The President of Poland Andrzej Duda called russia's actions in Bucha genocide, and the French Foreign Ministry called the russian ambassador for provocative information about the atrocities in Bucha.
The russian army tortured and killed civilians, including children in Bucha and other settlements. Several mass graves of civilians are found in Bucha. One mass grave is for more than 200 people. Yesterday, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the occupiers has begun to burn the people tortured by them to hide the evidences. Mariupol city authorities have informed that mobile crematoria have started working in the city.
