The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, addressed the leaders of municipalities where there is no threat of a confrontation with russians to ensure that people return. The Head of State talked about this in his evening address to Ukrainians.
"I urge all municipalities leaders in areas where there is no threat of confrontation with the russian enemy on the ground to do everything possible so that people could come back, work, and economic processes could restart. To do everything possible to restore normal life - as far as security allows, "- said the president.
He addressed mayors and members of city and regional councils to look for solutions for each district and region.
"Together with the government, together with us, the Office of the President, together with the members of the Parliament of Ukraine. A functioning economy is as important as a strong, brave army," - he said.
According to Zelenskyy, it is necessary to find a solution to stabilize the country's economy.
"If we need to move enterprises from certain districts, we must do it. If we need to update the legislation and give businesses more space for development, the members of the Parliament should do so quickly. Suppose we need to create special conditions so that people could return, and the security situation allows this in a particular territory. In that case, every leader at any level must give one hundred percent of effort to do everything possible to let people return to such safe areas," - the president concluded.
Today president Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the government concerning the search of budget filling sources.
